
4th MARA Partner Meeting took place online as a virtual event
Despite the planned visit to Vidzeme in Latvia, MARA Partners had to meet online due to current epidemilogical situation and related restrcitions. The video conference meeting took place on 8-9 September 2020.
MARA project has reached its 4th period. By this time two key digital outputs of MARA project have been brought to life: the GIS based Mapping Tool and the Population Mobility Monitor.
Project partners presented their case concepts on innovative mobility solutions in their respective regions and exchanged on challenges and opportunities in case implementation and piloting. PP2 Bialystok University of Technology elaborated on the structure of the Regional Action Plan that each region will develop - a roadmap on concrete steps to be undertaken towards the improved mobility and accessibility in the Baltic Sea Region. RAPs should be later integrated into regional policy documents and thereby serve are one of the measures to enable the sustainability of MARA outputs far beyond project duration.
